Which countries are included can vary, but at least 15 countries are usually included. These are Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these, the UN usually includes the Cape Verde archipelago in West Africa. This is a region that includes many countries as well as many people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tourism is generally low in West Africa, with some exceptions.
