Here we were able to discover everything from Estonian regions and local food producers to travel destinations from other parts of the world. When we visited the fair in 2020, it opened with a program for travel professionals before opening to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2020, the fair took place from 7-9 February, and we were here together with the Estonian Tourist Board in Sweden and a small group of Swedish tour operators and journalists. Wonderful! Here we found lovely freshly baked bread and a classic Estonian smoked cheese in \"braids\". We tried the green and burgundy cakes you see below. They contained spinach and beetroot, which added to the colour. Just like in Sweden, these pastries are eaten on Fat Tuesday. Everything was locally produced from various small farms around the country: sausage, liver paste, smoked meat, cheese, pickled cucumber and vegan truffles, among other things.
