We have been here on several occasions, but especially remember a sunny August weekend when we managed to get a fantastic spot right on the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That time it was high season and we suspected that it might be difficult to find a free space. So we called early in the morning, and the staff promised to get back to us if anything became available. Camping is a large facility with a nice location by the water. There are camping and parking spaces for motorhomes and caravans, tent sites, cottages and a guest marina. The area also has restaurants, a service house, a sauna, adventure golf and other activities. Cruise to \u00c5land with Ecker\u00f6linjen<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right next to the fishing port is the Ecker\u00f6linjen office. This is where you go if you are going to cruise to \u00c5land. M\/S Ecker\u00f6 operates a daily route between Grisslehamn in Roslagen and Ecker\u00f6 on \u00c5land. The journey takes two hours one way and on board there are restaurants and tax-free shopping. There are lots of different small rooms with pools, saunas, jacuzzis and saunas. This fine little church, which was inaugurated in 1909<strong>, <\/strong>belongs to V\u00e4dd\u00f6 parish and is managed non-profit through a chapel association. Visit the Albert Engstr\u00f6m Museum<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not far from the harbour and the chapel is the Albert Engstr\u00f6m Museum. This is a fantastic little museum about the artist and writer Engstr\u00f6m, who is perhaps best known for the drawing with the text \"Kr\u00e4ftor kr\u00e4va dessa drycker\". Engstr\u00f6m was born in 1869 in L\u00f6nneberga in Sm\u00e5land, and eventually ended up right here, by the sea in Grisslehamn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can visit the residential house, which is a short distance from the water, and the studio, which Albert Engstr\u00f6m had built at the far end of the sea. Here we had a guided tour, which was very interesting. In the area there is also a copy of an optical telegraph that was inaugurated in 1796 and a caf\u00e9 that is usually very popular. This island is located just north of Grisslehamn and there is a road connection.
