Before embarking on a trip, you need to check and organise certain things. Sometimes you may need to plan a few months in advance, especially if you are travelling long distances or to more unusual destinations. When travelling to certain countries, your passport must also be valid for another 6 months after your return date. Check the rules of the country you are travelling to and what is written in your passport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do you need a visa?<\/strong> If so, apply for a visa at the country's embassy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Are any vaccinations needed?<\/strong> Read up online and visit a vaccination centre if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do you need any prescription medication?<\/strong>&nbsp;Make sure you have enough or make an appointment with your doctor to get your prescriptions on time. If you are travelling with a narcotic drug, you may need a certificate from the pharmacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do you have a good insurance policy?<\/strong> Check with your insurance company if your insurance covers your needs.
