In Sweden, the craft is best known in the Glass Kingdom of Sm\u00e5land, where it became popular in the 18th century. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glass is still blown in the Glass Kingdom today, as it has been for centuries, and there are plenty of small glassworks where art glass is created. We have seen glass blowing many times, partly in the Czech Republic but now also in Sweden. Nevertheless, we had several aha experiences when we tried it ourselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We tested blowing glass at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2024\/05\/besoka-kosta\/\">Kosta<\/a> Glass Centre. Here you can book a test, and you can then blow your own glass under supervision. Then it was time to get started, one at a time.
