It displays the Thiel couple's large art collection, but also various temporary exhibitions. id=\"Familjen_Thiels_hem\"><\/span>The Thiel family home<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed by architect Ferdinand Boberg, the Thiels' white palace was completed in 1907. The Thiel family, with their children Tage and Lill, lived here until 1924. The gallery is largely preserved as it was when the family lived here. The building is surrounded by sculptures, including those by Gustav Vigeland and Auguste Rodin. Another, perhaps even nicer way to get here is to take the shuttle boat. It made a few stops along the way, where people got on and off, and we got off at Nybrokajen.
