Finnlines operates the route all year round and the crossing takes around nine hours. Travem\u00fcnde is located just outside L\u00fcbeck and is a good starting point for continuing towards Hamburg, northern Germany or further south in Europe.<\/p><div class=\"sharethis-buttons\"><div night departures. We chose the departure that leaves at 16:00 from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2022\/07\/gora-i-malmo\/\">Malm\u00f6<\/a> and arrives at 1am in Travem\u00fcnde. If you would rather arrive in the morning or during the day, other departures may be more suitable. When booking, you specify the type of vehicle you are traveling with as well as the length and height of the vehicle. This meant we could keep the fridge running without LPG. After all, the journey takes quite a few hours, and we spent a lot of these in the cabin working on the computers, reading and sleeping. You should turn off roaming at sea, but you can order a WiFi package if you want. However, you will find most of what you need, as long as you check the opening hours carefully.
