The name comes from the fact that the sun reaches the area relatively late in the morning and disappears early behind the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">See the old town hall<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Altes Rathaus is located on Hauptstrasse and is one of the city&#039;s historic buildings. Originally built as a warehouse and trading house, the building has had several different functions over the centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover Miltenberg&#039;s Jewish history<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Miltenberg, there are several traces of the town&#039;s Jewish history, including an old synagogue, a historic mikveh and a Jewish cemetery. They tell the story of Jewish life, which was a long part of the town&#039;s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hike along the Fr\u00e4nkischer Rotwein Wanderweg<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to combine nature with local flavors, you can set off on the Franconian Red Wine Hiking Trail. The approximately 79-kilometer trail runs through the wine landscape along the Main and can be divided into significantly shorter stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover nature above Miltenberg<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the old town, several hiking trails lead up into the forests above Miltenberg. Also, the staff was very nice and helpful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you don't think you need to camp, there are also several car parks where you can park your campervan for free, without service.
