The project started in 2017 and has resulted in six (soon to be seven!) murals on barn walls around the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project highlights the hidden and forgotten heritage and brings the personal stories to life. Here you can see photos of the artworks and a short presentation of the women portrayed. He moved to her farm, but the marriage soon ran into problems. When they divorced, there was a huge uproar in the community. Augusta lived alone for the rest of her life and never had any children.
