There are ferries to five different destinations in Europe (Germany, Poland and Lithuania). We have both spent a lot of time in Trelleborg as we have worked here for many years. However, we have never stayed in a hotel here before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-strander\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Strander\"><\/span>Beaches<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitors to Trelleborg on a fine day often want to visit the beach. The municipality has many different beaches for different purposes and wishes. A visit to Trelleborgen means travelling back in time, to the 9th century to be exact. It is interesting to get an insight into Viking society and learn about what life was like at that time and what Viking battles were like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you visit Trellborgen in the summertime, you can try out different Viking games and try other chores that were done at that time. If you are in Trelleborg on the second weekend in July, we recommend that you visit Trelleborgen. She tells us about the history of Hotel Danneg\u00e5rden. We who are curious find it very interesting. The hotel is a lovely villa from the 1910s that has been owned by the Ivholt family for 10 years. The hotel is named after its founder, Kaj Danneg\u00e5rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year a lovely pool was built in the garden. We are looking forward to swimming in it if we return in spring or summer.  Now it was the hot jacuzzi that attracted us. Here we sat for a long time and enjoyed before we finished with a sauna. When we were here there was a sale, so we had the opportunity to shop at a really good price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What an energy boost it is to make an evening of it in the middle of the week. An ordinary Thursday became a fantastic Thursday thanks to our visit to the lovely Danneg\u00e5rden, a short distance from our homes. As we sit and eat breakfast, we realise that we should try to be even better than we already are at brightening up grey, mundane weekdays. How are you?
