How do you prefer to travel and why?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We prefer to travel with our <strong>motorhome<\/strong> FREEDOM. The motorhome means freedom for us. We can stop when we want and change direction when we want. It's also comfortable. These two activities, which can be done in many parts of the world, often provide a peaceful, natural and exciting experience. Everything in this restaurant is inspired by nature, from the decor to the amazing small dishes. We say <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/restips\/europa\/sydeuropa\/frankrike\/\">France<\/a><\/strong> for great seafood, cheeses and wines, not to mention sauces, soups, stews, 3-course menus and all the other goodies. We also say <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/restips\/europa\/sydeuropa\/turkiet\/\">Turkey<\/a><\/strong> for all the appetisers and delicious scrambles they like to fill the table with, before the main course. The 2007 elections in Kenya led to widespread unrest throughout the country, and where we were, in Mombasa, the roads were closed and the violence escalated. The taxi driver drove as fast as he could towards Tanzania, with darkened windows and crossing between burning car wrecks. For us it ended well. We work almost all the time and need to be able to write, post and manage emails and other tasks. Among other things, we were fascinated by the beautiful coastline and all the beautiful and well-preserved wooden towns. We also love the romantic <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2020\/01\/gora-i-rom\/\">Rome<\/a><\/strong>, where it feels like you're walking around a living outdoor museum. Then you can feel \"done\" with some places. Since we write travel reports, we usually want to travel to new places (so that we have something new to write about), and it is quite rare that we go back to exactly the same place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In some countries, such as the Philippines, it is not the cities (which can be hectic and noisy) that attract visitors, but the islands and beaches. I have studied French, Spanish and Danish at different times and we have studied Russian together. We don't speak any of those languages, but we have some knowledge that can help along the way. How does this affect our travelling? Nothing really. We had an incredibly nice day together and then two more boat trips together.
