This location makes it the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Some of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bortugal.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Bortugal family<\/a>, who we visited, took the opportunity to surf and inline skate, while others of us simply enjoyed sitting in the warm sun. We ordered a large plate filled with grilled fish, prawns, mussels, potatoes and vegetables. If you want, you can buy a certificate of having been here, if you want to brag about it. The cliff edges are steep and the area can be both windy and slippery. It has been rebuilt and modernized on several occasions, including in 1843. The lighthouse tower is 22 meters high and the light has a range of about 48 kilometers.
