class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the uncertain security situation in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/mellanostern\/\">Middle East<\/a> several airlines have chosen to adjust their flight routes, Ticket writes in a press release. In particular, Iranian and Iraqi airspace is being avoided, which has led to diverted flights and cancelled departures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The changes concern flights to destinations in the region, such as Dubai, but also some long-haul flights. Travelling to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/restips\/asien\/thailand\/\">Thailand<\/a>, which are often reached via stopovers, may also be affected. The study also reveals remarkable generational differences in how we prepare for and experience our holidays:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-forberedelser-fore-avresan\">Pre-departure preparations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>75 % double-checks all bookings<\/strong> more than once. Among Generation Z (aged 18-29), 85 % double-check several times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>47 % packs at least three days before travelling<\/strong>, and 27 % try on all their outfits in advance. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>37 % takes an extra day of holiday<\/strong>, either before or after travelling, to prepare or gather yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ritualer-innan-man-lamnar-hemmet\">Rituals before leaving home:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>67 % presents travelling clothes<\/strong>, 55 % pack entertainment and 36 % bring drinks or snacks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>27 % of Gen Z brings a specific garment for \u201dluck\u201d<\/strong>, compared with 8 % of Boomers (born 1945-1964).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>23 % of Gen Z listens to a specific \u201dtravel song list\u201d<\/strong> to get in the mood compared to 3 % of Boomers. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-val-pa-hotellrummet\">Once in the hotel room:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>71 % checking the view<\/strong>, as a top priority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>59 % performs a thorough \u201droom inspection\u201d<\/strong>, which includes the minibar, bed comfort and cleanliness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>54 % connects to the hotel's WiFi<\/strong>, as a must.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>41 % of Gen Z takes direct photo\/video of the room<\/strong>, compared to 11 % of Boomers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>22 % starts by taking a shower<\/strong>.
