We have underfloor heating, radiators and an air source heat pump - as well as a stove if we want to heat up. But, the cold still poses some challenges. We realised a little later that we needed to change the heating cable at the inlet, and we therefore needed to bring in a plumber. We see them all day long, both from the houseboat windows and when we walk. The ice is thick now, absolutely! At the same time, it's a bit scary here in the city centre - there are many sensitive areas with inlets, outlets, drains and gutters where icebreakers drive now and then.
