The plan is to follow the west coast southwards from here. When we left Cala Gonone we saw a lot of really mighty mountains. Here in Sardinia, the roads are two-lane and considerably wider, but the quality of the roads is much better. <em>deplorable<\/em>. And somehow it's harder to overlook all the bumps and potholes when you're expected to drive fast and don't have a lot of wonderful scenery to look at ...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image Torres in the north-west and checked into a campsite called <em>Camping Golfo dell'Asinara<\/em>. We are sharing the campsite (which we think is huge) with a bunch of noisy campers, but we have found peace anyway. As soon as Peter stops, the tablet comes out! Then he made spaghetti with prawns and two kinds of mussels.
