The roads wind their way - sometimes along the coast and sometimes high up in the mountains. After our little <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2015\/07\/hemma-hos-i-en-by-pa-sardinien\/\">excursion to the village of Scano di Montiferro<\/a> we came home with fresh and local produce in Sardinia. From our new friends' farm we brought zucchini, lettuce and spinach, and from the butcher we brought fresh salsiccia (Italian sausage).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three times a week, pigs are delivered from local farmers to the butcher - who then cuts and makes sausages. Isn't that how things should be done everywhere? Oh, how we'd love to be able to <em>ever<\/em> buy pork or sausages in a Swedish supermarket again. And what about the flavour? Well, there is no comparison! We went down to a beach called Portu Cauli beach. We were not alone, so to speak! We thought \"Help, it's the high season!\", but the crowd could also have been because it was Sunday.
