After several scorching hot pitches on asphalt, the green grass felt almost like pure luxury. Here we stayed for a few days among fig trees, cats and fish ponds and also received unexpected help with an incipient LPG problem. There weren&#039;t that many people on &quot;our&quot; end of the beach either. Some days we didn&#039;t even go down to the beach. We just washed clothes, cleaned the car and hung out at our computers. So how much could happen? If you have followed our journey from the beginning, you may remember that we do not have a permanent LPG installation. We have recently been driving around with two empty Swedish tubes and a half-full French tube, always knowing that we are facing a problem when the French tube runs out. Each country has its own tubes, its own couplings and its own LPG system, just to make life complicated....<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After we got the tip, we took the opportunity to ask the campsite owner and yes, he could probably fix it!!!! He brought both our Swedish tubes without us having to take a step outside the site. We lost the opportunity to cook that night, but then the owner kindly lent us a hotplate. And today he came with two filled Swedish LPG tubes. Yesterday we took a closer look at the bush we parked next to. But wow, it was a fig tree! The owner of the car park also came walking with a big pile of figs that he thought we should have and showed the tree which ones are about to ripen. First there were three begging cats that joined us. Then Mr Dog came by. When we walked around a little later, we discovered that there are plenty of fish ponds. The sites are available on both grass and harder surfaces. Always check current prices, opening hours and service before your visit, as these may change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salvamar is also described as <em>ittiturismo<\/em>, a business connected to fish farming and the fishing industry. It finally gave us an explanation for all the fish ponds we found in the area. When we were here, the campsite owner appeared with bread and started feeding thousands of fish of different colors and sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We mostly thought we had ended up in an unusually private parking space.
