In addition to Turkey, the USA, Chile, China, Algeria, Spain, Poland and Palestine are represented, among others. We explored art in a few different places:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sakip Sabanci Mardin City Museum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entire art festival opened at the Sakip Sabanci Mardin City Museum, showcasing art by a variety of artists. Unfortunately, we didn&#039;t get to see much of the historic cave city - where art is also on display - but we did go down into the deep old water cistern. We visited the Arura restaurant, with its accompanying art gallery, among others. Mardin is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2026\/05\/en-av-turkiets-vackraste-stader\/\">beautiful city in Turkey<\/a>, and the history makes it very special.
