Kotor is located deep in the Bay of Kotor<\/a> in Montenegro. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and recently the number of tourists arriving here has increased every year. Many of them come on the large cruise ships that dock in the bay. <\/p>

Kotor is a really charming old town and one of the first things you notice are the great walls that ring the mountain above the town. Of course, we immediately wondered ... can you get up there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kotor - charming city within walls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Walking through the city gate into Kotor, you enter a charming old town full of old houses, restaurants and small cafes. Despite it being September, there are plenty of tourists here, and we hear people speaking English, French, German, Russian and other languages we can't identify. <\/p>
