Wonderful! We also spent a night aboard the beautiful ship M\/S Wilhelm Tham on the G\u00f6ta Canal. Of course, it&#039;s also a freedom with responsibility. Are you allowed to stay overnight anywhere, anytime? Of course not! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we have mentioned before, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2026\/03\/manga-tror-att-allemansratten-galler-husbilar\/\">The right of public access does not apply to motor vehicles in Sweden.<\/a> \u2013 but you are allowed to sleep in your vehicle if you follow parking rules and other local regulations \u2013 and show consideration. We are aiming for a maximum of 100 SEK\/night on average \u2013 which means that some overnight stays may be more expensive, while others need to be free. We then proceeded to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2020\/07\/soderkoping\/\">S\u00f6derk\u00f6ping<\/a>, for a cruise on the G\u00f6ta Canal \u2013 the incredibly beautiful and charming \u201dLittle Canal Trip\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will tell you more about this trip soon \u2013 it is a fantastic canal cruise that is perfect for those who want to do something special. Since we had to turn back to Stockholm, we then took a different route, in the direction of V\u00e4ster\u00e5s and Arboga.
