We first visited the hotel in 2016, when we were invited to breakfast with other travel bloggers, and were immediately captivated by the 20s atmosphere. Since then, there have been several return visits. Outside, the market stalls are open, and very close by are the Concert Hall, H\u00f6torgshallen and the shopping streets Kungsgatan and Drottninggatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those of us who live in Stockholm, Haymarket has become a place for various get-togethers and meetings. Other times we have chosen Greta&#039;s to the left for lunch or a meeting. That feeling has persisted on subsequent visits. Here you can find big city life and movement, but also environments where it is nice to sit down and chat for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So you don&#039;t have to be a hotel guest to appreciate Haymarket. It offers hearty sandwiches, pastries and the lunch of the day. It also offers weekend brunch and afternoon tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was at Gretas that we had breakfast on our first visit in 2016. We had, among other things, yogurt with lavender honey and granola, as well as spelt scones with cream cheese, raspberry jam and fig jam. Before she became a movie star, she worked as a clerk and model in the PUB hat department. Her story has inspired the hotel&#039;s film theme, and the Greta&#039;s caf\u00e9 is of course also a nod to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#039;s fun when a building&#039;s past life is brought into the new business. Here, the connection between department store, film history and hotel feels natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hur_ar_det_att_bo_pa_Haymarket\"><\/span>What is it like to live in Haymarket?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During our visit in 2016, we were able to peek into one of the hotel rooms. It had a pretty cool style that tied in with the rest of the hotel. However, we have never stayed here and therefore cannot judge what it is like to stay overnight. Our own experiences are mainly about the breakfast on the first visit and the later meetings, meals and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those looking for a hotel in central Stockholm, Haymarket is located at H\u00f6torget 13\u201315, close to H\u00f6torget metro station and within walking distance of Central Station.
