Killarney National Park and the town of Killarney are located in the south-west of the country, at one end of the famous Ring of Kerry tourist route. We had seen some pictures before coming here, and yet we were almost stunned when we arrived at the national park. What greenery! In the national park there are also several magnificent buildings. Here we walked into a forest that was probably one of the greenest we have ever seen. With moss growing on all the rocks and branches, it almost looks like a magic forest. The waterfall was not overly large but contributed a lovely rushing sound to the forest.<\/p><div class=\"freed-grupp-i-blogginlagg freed-entity-placement\" id=\"freed-3782381493\"><div in the national park. This is a very beautiful house in beautiful surroundings, with green areas, a lake, gardens and greenhouses. The castle, which is a tower house from the 15th century, is nicely located by a lake where there are usually boat trips and you can also take a guided tour of the castle. There are several campsites in Killarney, and we chose the one closest to town (1.5 kilometres from the centre).
