Today, the ships Stena Germanica and Stena Scandinavica operate on the route and the crossing takes approximately 14 hours. One of the things we remember best from the trip was the passage under <strong>The Great Belt Bridge<\/strong>. Again, we recommend checking what is included in the cabin and ticket you book, as different options can change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But we like the setup itself: wake up, shower, eat breakfast and then go down to the camper and drive off the ferry in Sweden. The location is convenient for both those arriving by vehicle and those travelling without a car. The main train station and bus station are about a ten-minute walk from the terminal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those arriving by motorhome after a trip to Europe, Kiel is also easy to reach from the German road network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Current check-in times should always be checked before travelling. Stena Line currently states that check-in in Kiel closes 30 minutes before scheduled departure, but we wouldn&#039;t want to arrive that late with a campervan. Please note that Stena Line has different terminals in Gothenburg for the ferries to Kiel and Fredrikshamn respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the car tire opens, all you have to do is go down to the car or camper and get ready to drive off. For us, the arrival meant the end of a long European trip.
