We got to experience both The \u00c5hus Villa, parts of the factory and a lunch in the fine villa. Since 2024, the visitor center has been closed to the public, but here we tell you about our visit and show pictures from the time when the business was open.<\/p><div class=\"sharethis-buttons\"><div Sk\u00e5ne<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During our first two days in Kristianstad, we visited our blogger friends Daniela and G\u00f6ran, and among other things we had time to visit the fantastic little restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2019\/05\/pias-kitchen-i-kristianstad-en-av-sveriges-minsta-restauranger\/\">Pia's Kitchen<\/a> and the unlikely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2019\/05\/yangtorp-qigong-tempel-i-skane-som-fatt-nytt-liv\/\">qingong Temple Yangtorp<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then it was time for a press trip organised by Visit Kristianstad, which meant that another six Swedish travel bloggers showed up. Fun! Since 2008, Absolut has been part of the French spirits group Pernod Ricard, but production still takes place in \u00c5hus. The restaurant here was actually listed in the White Guide! The sun was shining and even though it was <em>little<\/em> cool we could sit outside on the nice outdoor terrace - lovely!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We started with a herring buffet and then chose different main courses.
