Or maybe you dream of seeing the big 5 on an African safari? We have visited both Kenya and Tanzania, but so far we haven't done a safari trip. The most \"real\" safari we experienced was probably the winter safari in Sri Lanka when we saw real big elephants. It was a fascinating and interesting trip, but still we have to admit that we have yet to experience a \"real\" safari. <em>real African safari<\/em>. There was beach life on Zanzibar (which in itself was fantastic!), but no safari. Many people think that these are the \"finest\" animals to see during a safari, but to be honest, there are many, many more interesting animals. I would just as soon see a cheetah, hippo or giraffe, for example.
