Here you can find beaches with clear water, a small old town center, boating and restaurants along the coast. Pako\u0161tane is also a good starting point for excursions. The Vrana Lake Nature Park is right next door, while the island world of the Kornati National Park can be experienced on boat trips from the area. You can choose to step in from the gravel beach, rocks or a bathing ladder. We took a dip from one of the bathing ladders. You can also make excursions to, among others, Lake Vrana, Kornati National Park and other places along the coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are there good beaches in Pakostane?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. In and around Pako\u0161tane there are several beaches and swimming areas with clear water. As in many other places along the Croatian coast, the beaches are mainly made up of pebbles, gravel and rocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is Pakostane worth a visit?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, especially if you are looking for a smaller holiday resort close to swimming and nature. Pako\u0161tane doesn&#039;t have many major attractions, but is nice for a day trip and also works well as a base for a longer holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How far is it between Zadar and Pako\u0161tane?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is approximately 35 kilometers between Zadar and Pako\u0161tane. By car, the journey takes about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How far is it between Biograd na Moru and Pako\u0161tane?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pako\u0161tane is located about 7\u20138 kilometers south of Biograd na Moru, so it is easy to combine both towns during the same excursion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Lake Vrana?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vrana Lake, <em>Vrana Lake<\/em>, located right next to Pako\u0161tane, is Croatia&#039;s largest natural lake. The area is protected as a nature park and is particularly known for its rich birdlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is it possible to camp in Pako\u0161tane?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. There are several camping options in the area. We visited Camping Kozarica, which is located by the sea and within walking distance of the center of Pako\u0161tane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can you make excursions to Kornati from Pako\u0161tane?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, Pako\u0161tane is well located for boat trips out to the islands of the Kornati National Park.
