Over the centuries, the castle has been controlled by several different powers, including Denmark, the Livonian Order, Sweden, and Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the wars between Sweden and Poland, the fortress was badly damaged and eventually lost its military significance. Today, impressive ruins remain, which have been transformed into a historical experience center. Here, a medieval world has been built with activities and environments that bring history to life \u2013 for both children and adults.<\/p><div class=\"freed-grupp-i-blogginlagg The bronze statue depicts an aurochs and was created by Estonian sculptor Tauno Kangro. The sand is really nice and it&#039;s shallow. What more could you want?
