During the \"Beach Basket Challenge 2019\" in Germany, we tested the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2019\/06\/husbilen-swift-toscane-794eb-vi-har-testat\/\">Swift Tuscany 794eb<\/a> and on the trip in Estonia we tested <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2019\/08\/platisen-inspire-camper-599-vi-har-testat\/\">Inspire Camper 599<\/a>. Many have asked <em>why<\/em> we have not driven our own motorhome, and one reason is that it has been interesting to test these new models. But there is also another reason ...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dags-for-freedom-2-0\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dags_for_FREEDOM_20\"><\/span>Time for FREEDOM 2.0<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have been driving our motorhome for many years, but due to our limited income, we have not been able to afford to fix it. More and more things have worn out and broken down, and we have finally reached a crossroads. But it is after all <em>yet<\/em> more expensive than fixing FREEDOM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have now concluded that <em>it is worth<\/em> to borrow money (even though we hate it) to fix up our beloved motorhome. We need to do this as cheaply (yet well) as possible, and we need your help with tips and advice! We've had the car for more than ten years, and some things need replacing. We have also had a strange fault with the clutch, which is a bit unpleasant. The clutch works fine most of the time, but suddenly and unexpectedly the pedal can drop to the floor, without being able to lift it up again. This happened a few times in Switzerland last summer. The windows are in poor condition, and we have still not repaired the window that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomtravel.se\/en\/2015\/07\/en-olycka-hander-latt\/\">broke down in Sardinia in 2015<\/a>. The following needs to be fixed:<\/p><div class=\"freed-grupp-stora-banner freed-entity-placement\" id=\"freed-1133548756\"><div class=\"freed-adlabel\">Advertisement<\/div><div id=\"freed-204792935\" \/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A roof hatch cannot be closed properly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A skylight is so scratched that you can't see out. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A window is broken<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Several blackout curtains work poorly <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We want to replace the curtains on the side windows of the driver's seats with modern \"cassettes\".<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The upholstery of the furniture has cracked at the seams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Several cable runs have come loose and are hanging \"ugly\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The footstep is
