Today there has been snow chaos in Stockholm traffic, and both cars and rail traffic have had major problems due to the snow storm. SMHI has issued a class 2 warning in the county, most flights have been cancelled and SL has on its website urged customers to avoid travelling by commuter train.

Bellmanstafetten is Sweden's largest relay race and takes place over two days in Stockholm, today and Saturday. Today there were over 2000 teams running, including my colleagues. This was a real party, and we even got to see a rainbow.

Rain and crayfish at Vaxholm campsite

This weekend there was rain and crayfish in Vaxholm. Saturday offered persistent pouring rain. There was no sun and swimming or strolling in town. Instead, we hung out at the campsite all day... It's not surprising that people are longing for sun and warmth now. But finding holidays that meet Swedes' requirements for a week in the sun is more difficult: "Not too long to travel, not too expensive and warm enough to sunbathe and swim".
