There are many great cities in Spain, not only Barcelona but also Seville, Valencia and Tarragona, for example. They are full of historical attractions, such as churches, the Alhambra and Roman remains.

You'll find good tapas, of course, but also fantastic ham and good pork from the Iberico pig. Prices are good and eating and drinking in restaurants is often affordable. Find lots of articles about Spain here.
