It's amazing that I live so close and yet I haven't been to Sicily since we came to Malta almost 16 years ago. By car ferry it only takes 90 minutes but for some reason the husband does not want to go there. Will probably try to persuade him again and show your nice presentation 😀.

Oh what a great summary. I have been to Sicily once about 16 years ago and long to go back. Taromina, Etna and many beautiful places. A terrible boat journey to see the active volcano at Volcano. When we were up on Etna we went to a beautiful place to rinse off. We ended up at what looked like caves and very clear water. Freezing cold to swim there but unfortunately I have forgotten what it is called. Is it something you recognise

Glad you write and in Sicily you need to spend at least a month to experience just a small part. I can not understand where you have been in the beautiful place but it can not have been on the coast because there it is almost always hot. It feels like you have been in a part of Efta and hence the cold water, and it sounds magical. You can go to Google maps and zoom in on every little place and maybe it will come. Feel free to write if you find the place.
