In this list you will find campsites and pitches in Bohuslän, listed from north to south. All sites have been visited by us, Helena and Peter, from FREEDOMtravel.se. The prices indicate what we paid when we visited the site (time in brackets).

Strömstad - First camp city-Strömstad
- Description: Nice campsite located on a slope. Good location for visiting Strömstad and the Koster Islands.
- Service: Electricity, service house, fresh water, latrine emptying, grey water emptying, small shop and restaurant.
- Price: 280 kr/day at the end of September (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Strömstad with art, street art in Strömstad, Strömstad's museum and ancient monuments. It is also fantastic to make an excursion to Koster Islands.
Strömstad - Parking on Trädgårdsgatan
- Description: A car park where you can currently park for free. The site has previously been an organised car park, and will probably eventually be converted into something else.
- Service: None
- Price: Free (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Strömstad with art, street art in Strömstad, Strömstad's museum and ancient monuments. It is also fantastic to make an excursion to Koster Islands.
Grebbestad - Camping Grebbestadfjorden
- Description: A campsite in an excellent location for visiting Grebbestad.
- Service: Electricity, service house, fresh water, latrine emptying, grey water emptying and mini-living.
- Price: 380 in September (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Grebbestad with restaurants, boat trip with M/S Donalda, Monk's church, Tjurpannan nature reserve and rock carvings in Tanum. It is also not far from the beautiful Fjällbacka.
Grebbestad - Sportshopen car park
- Description: A large and well-organised site in Bohuslän on gravel, located at Sportshopen. In summer there is also "Naturställplats Grebbestad", which has an even better location for visiting Grebbestad.
- Service: Electricity, service house, fresh water, latrine emptying, grey water emptying and mini-living.
- Price: 200 with electricity in low season (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Grebbestad with restaurants, boat trip with M/S Donalda, Monk's church, Tjurpannan nature reserve and rock carvings in Tanum. It is also not far from the beautiful Fjällbacka.
Litsleby - parking
- Description: Car park on gravel, at the rock carving area, surrounded by nature.
- Service: Ground floor
- Price: Free of charge

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Litsleby rock carvings as well as all other rock carvings in Tanum (Unesco World Heritage). It is also close to Grebbestad and Fjällbacka.
Hunnebostrand lökholmens car park in Bohuslän
- Description: Motorhome site at the guest harbour, close to the centre of Hunnebostrand. There is good service at the parking space at the harbour. If this is full, there is a pitch a little higher up, within walking distance of the lower one.
- Service: Electricity, toilets, fresh water and the possibility of emptying grey and black water.
- Price: Payment via parking app (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Hunnebostrand with Sankt Göran's Island, Udden sculpture, Hunneboklyftan and Smögen Whiskey. Nearby you can also hike in beautiful Ramsvik country.
Smögen - parking
- Description: Large car park surrounded by rocks, in a good location for visiting Smögen. There are regular cars here, but also often many motorhomes. Other options are Park & Stay on Hasselösundsvägen or Smögenbron.
- Service: Public toilets are right next door.
- Price: Payment via the EasyPark app (2022)
- Find here: Large car park near Smögenbryggan and the Kleven trail.
- See and do in the neighbourhood: Smögen with Smögenbryggan, fish and seafood, outdoor trails and various boat trips. Also nearby are King's Harbour and Ramsvkslandet.
King's Harbour Turns of the fishing rod
- Description: A nice pitch in Bohuslän! The site is located in a marina, of which some sites are directly on the water. Nice treatment. Good location for visiting the centre of Kungshamn.
- Service: Electricity, toilet, fresh water and the possibility of emptying grey and black water.
- Price: 280 SEK incl. electricity during high season (2022)
- Find here: Tångens Marina, Varvsgatan 19, Kunsghamn.
- See and do in the neighbourhood: Kungshamn with its promenade and bathing areas. You can also take a trip with the Zita boats to Smögen.
Lysekil - Fish harbour and Kolholmarna
- Description: The municipal site "Fiskehamnen" is located at the harbour, next to the centre of Lysekil. If this is busy, you can continue to the "Kolholmarna" car park, a little further away along the same road.
- Service: Electricity, toilets, fresh water and the possibility of emptying grey and black water.
- Price: About 250 SEK incl. electricity in high season (2022)
- Find here: Bangårdsgatan 1 and Bangårdsgatan 18 in Lysekil.
- See and do in the neighbourhood: Lysekil with Havets hus and Stångehuvud nature reserve. You can also take the passenger ferry to Fiskebäckskil at Skaftö.
Uddevalla Parking in the centre of Uddevalla
- Description: RV park in Bohuslän on asphalt, next to other car parks, in a good location for visiting the centre of Uddevalla.
- Service: Electricity (toilet available at the Travel Centre)
- Price: 100 SEK/day (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Right next door you will find Bohuslän Museum. You can also discover Tule Castle, the seafront, the Gustafsberg spa and Bokenäset.
Uddevalla hafsten resort & Camping
- Description: Very nice campsite with a beautiful location by the beach and mountains. The campsite has a hot tub, sauna, gym, pool, adventure golf, high altitude course, padel, a cool zipline and many other activities.
- Service: Electricity, service house, latrine emptying, grey water emptying, small shop (summer) and restaurants.

- See and do in the neighbourhood: It is close to Bokenäset and Stallgården Krog and Café. You can also visit Uddevalla and interesting Bohuslän Museum.
Fiskebäckskil, Skaftö Parking Green cult
- Description: A small parking area right next to a small petrol station and a nature area. If you are looking for a more organised site, you can look for "Lyckans slip" in Fiskebäckskil.
- Service: No service

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Discover charming Fiskebäckskil and equally charming Grundsund. From Fiskebäckskil you can also take a passenger ferry to Lysekil
Henån, Orust Henån car park in Bohuslän
- Description: Large pitch with space for many motorhomes, at the harbour in Henån. One of all the nice and pleasant pitches in Bohuslän!
- Service: Electricity, service house, fresh water and possibility to empty tanks. Shops are in the neighbourhood.
- Price: 190 kr/day (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Discovering Orust, including excursions to islands and the MUMA Mural paintings.
Malö, Orust - Malö camping
- Description: Scenic camping on the island of Malö in Orust. Perfect for those who want to kayak.
- Service: Electricity, a service centre, fresh water and the possibility of emptying tanks. There is also a shop on the island.
- Price: 335 kr/day in high season (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: You can rent kayaks at the campsite. On the neighbouring island, Flatön, there is a restaurant. On eastern Orust you can also discover MUMA Mural paintings.
Stocken, Orust stagnation campoule
- Description: Large and beautiful campsite on western Orust. For accommodation in motorhomes, caravans, tents or cabins.
- Service: Electricity, shelter, fresh water, tank emptying facilities and a restaurant.
- Price: 420 kr/day in high season (2020)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: The campsite offers adventure golf, pedal cars, bicycles and other activities. You can also discover Orust, with for example Käring Island and MUMA Mural paintings.
Mollösund, Orust car park / parking
- Description: Parking space on gravel, which also serves as a parking space. Walking distance to the centre of Mollösund.
- Service: No service
- Price: Pay per hour, in the EasyPark app (2022)

Mollösund, Orust parking space in the harbour
- Description: Small site with a few pitches, close to the lighthouse. Perfect location for visiting the harbour, restaurants and more.
- Service: Electricity and some other services.
- Price: Don't remember

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Charming Mollösund with harbour, restaurants, Klockarberget and more.
Stenungsund - Harbour plan Stenkajen
- Description: Pitches in the harbour area, overlooking the water.
- Service: Electricity, fresh water supply and emptying of grey and black water. Toilets and showers are available, but they are a long walk away.
- Price: 230 SEK/day (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Stenungsund and take the bridge over to Tjörn to visit Skärhamn and various islands.
Skärhamn, Tjörn - Sea & Accommodation
- Description: Camping (and accommodation in hostels and houses) in a scenic setting in Skärhamn.
- Service: Electricity, service building, possibility of filling fresh water and emptying grey and black water. There is also a relaxation area.
- Price: 250 SEK/day for a pitch. Campsites cost 300 SEK/day - 420 SEK/day depending on the season (2022).

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Skärhamn with restaurants and the Nordic Watercolour Museum and the rest of Tjörn, including Klädesholmen and islands such as Åstol and Dyrön.
Bleket, Tjörn - Mossholmens marina
- Description: Berth in marina on Mossholmen, not far from Klädesholmen.
- Service: Electricity, service building, possibility of filling fresh water and emptying grey and black water.
- Price: Around 240 kr/day (2022)

- See and do in the neighbourhood: Klädesholmen with its swimming area and herring museum, and the rest of Tjörn, including the beautiful islands of Åstol and Dyrön.
Marstrand - Parking before the bridge
- Description: Parking space on gravel, with a nice view of the water. The car traffic on the neighbouring road can be heard.
- Service: No service
- Price: Free of charge
- Find here: Just to the right, before the first the bridge when driving out on the islands towards Marstrand. Note! The map below shows the point too far out (difficult to set).

Hälsö in the Gothenburg archipelago Hälsö harbour
- Description: A great place to park with a view of the water.

Hälsö in the Gothenburg archipelago Tjolmen car park / Öckerö boat society
- Description: One of all the really nice pitches in Bohuslän! Located in a small marina. About 3 kilometres to the nearest grocery store.
- Service: Electricity and other services.
- Price: 130 SEK/day (2022)
- Find here: Just by the bridge between Öckerö and Hälsö. There are signs pointing to the car park.

Öckerö in the Gothenburg archipelago Öckerö harbour
- Description: Large pitch in Bohuslän with space for many motorhomes, in harbour. Nice places at the front of the water.

- Description: A nice camping site with pitches beautifully situated by the cliffs and the sea. There is also a café in the harbour.
- Service: Electricity, water filling and emptying of grey and black water. Washing machines are also available, but you must have 10 crowns.
- Price: 200 kr/day (2022) Do not pay before 12:00, as the payment is valid 12-12.

Campsites and pitches in Bohuslän - good to know
There are plenty of campsites and pitches in Bohuslän, many of which are well located along the coast. When it's high season and the weather is good, the nice and popular sites can be full, so you should either book in advance or arrive early in the day.
