Gradually, it feels like we are getting more and more finished with what we intended to do in the houseboat during the autumn. This weekend we finished painting the lower deck, and it's really nice to be done with that.

All the walls that are not covered with wood panelling have been given the colour sea mist, which is the same colour as the exterior of the houseboat. We have also covered the steps on the stairs between the kitchen and the lower deck with carpet.
However, Peter can't stay away from work for as long as he had planned and needs to go back to work. So what's left to fix we have to organise in the evenings and weekends ... as usual.
