Sometimes you want to see a film that provides a little more than just entertainment for the moment, and then we can recommend The Reader with Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes. The film is about 15-year-old student Michael Berg who begins a passionate love affair with 30-year-old conductor Hanna.

Emotional film
This is a well-made and emotional film that doesn't answer any of the difficult questions it poses, but leaves the viewer to ponder the human capacity for horrific acts as well as for love and forgiveness.
