It is mainly the hotels that are cheap, but the low prices often also apply to food, drink and attractions. In Bulgaria's capital Sofia, for example, a double room costs just over 500 kroner, according to the article.

The top ten list of cheap cities in Europe is topped by Bulgaria's capital Sofia. The other cities on the list are in the eastern part of Europe, where prices are generally a little lower.
