In collaboration with Tyre Online
Over the past few days, we have changed the tyres on the houseboat, without buying a single new item. And we bought new car tyres for the car online. So today we will talk about tyres!
New furniture on deck
Ever since we bought our outdoor furniture, we have had the big table standing in the length of the boat. Maybe we thought it would only fit that way, I don't know? Suddenly Peter realised that we could turn the table around. Voilà! A tiny change that gave both a better view and more space at the barbecue (barbecue premiere yesterday!). But now let's talk about other types of tyres ...
Buying tyres online
When we bought our little used car, the Mini-FREEDOM, in November, we had to get winter tyres straight away. At the same time, it turned out that the summer tyres were so bad that they had to be thrown away. So when it was time to change to summer tyres, we had to order new ones. Peter searched the internet for a long time before finding good and cheap tyres. summer tyres on Tyres Online.
Last week we were asked by Tyre Oline to write an article about car tyres, and since we just placed an order with them, we thought we could share our experience. We can sometimes feel a little insecure about ordering things online, but the order worked perfectly and the tyres were delivered quickly. We also didn't find better prices elsewhere, even though we searched around for quite some time.
All types of car tyres
Tyres Online offers all kinds of car tyres: summer and winter tyres, motorcycle tyres and tyres for heavier vehicles such as trucks and motorhomes. There are also eco-tires, which are developed using environmentally friendly technologies and contain silica, which reduces friction between the molecules in the rubber of the tyre, which in turn reduces the rolling resistance of the tyres.
We are very happy with the tyres we bought, but since the company delivers throughout Europe, we first read up on the tyres we wanted to order - all to be completely that the tyres are approved in Sweden. If you want to look at even more tyres and compare them, you can also look at www.giga-dack.se. Have you ever ordered car tyres online? What is your experience?

At least two of my dear boys order tyres online, it works well.
I bought new ones from my tyre hotel and of course had to pay more.
Good that you are informing!
Sunny hug and now with the foot in the shoe and the excursion basket ♥

Haha! Yes, think what a little "think-about" can do a lot sometimes. It is very easy to become home blind 🙂
We bought new tyres for the car last autumn, not online but at Toyota. They had a special price, and the situation was urgent as the car had a "nail in the foot".

I have positive experience with Tyre Online, which delivers immediately and delivers to my home. Have bought so-called C tyres for the small car and the motorhome. Then fitted by a Tyre Online partner outside the city.
I know many people who act in this way.

Sometimes small changes can work wonders.
I have not tried to buy tyres online. We bought new summer tyres for the Jeep this week, but we bought them from the garage where we service the car. You know, this thing about favouring local businesses. However, it is very good to be able to check tyre tests and prices online in preparation for a purchase.

Looks clever that you reversed the direction of the tyre table ? Interesting info on environmental tyres, but online ordering, well, we'll see when it becomes relevant. Lill-Freedom shines nicely in the sun?

Tyres are definitely not something I would buy online, it will be difficult if you need a warranty - and the price difference is actually too small compared to the service we get from our tyre maker. We have three different tyres for our campervan; summer tyres, winter tyres without studs and with studs, because we travel and work in different parts of the country with different weather conditions, as well as driving abroad. We own our motorhome privately but also work with it, a great opportunity. It is not just about money but about a very good relationship and price negotiation with its tyre maker and tyre hotel is super, nothing we struggle with, as we have the largest tyres as the engine is 180hp.

Hahaa! Funny with the table! I actually thought about it when I looked at a previous post, but that's how I am... 🙂 🙂

Geddfish, well now that we happened to have experience we could tell you. Wishing you a nice trip! 🙂
Åsa, right? 😉
Lennart, that was also a good suggestion!
Ama de casa, isn't it easy to get homesick!!!?
Nils-Åke, good to hear that you also have good experience!
Steve, I can understand your feeling of wanting to support the local traders! That feeling may not be as strong here, while the price was important to us at the time 😉.
Lena, ordering tyres online worked surprisingly well! And it's nice to have the sun 🙂 .
Ingrid, it's important to find quality and price that you're happy with, and you seem to have done that!
Anja, is it true? It's like being blinded by home. I haven't even thought about the possibility of turning the table before... 😉.
Rolle and Carina, thank you, yes we do think it's nice on the houseboat, and especially this time of year 🙂 Take care!

Very successful redecoration:-) You need so little sometimes!
I buy tyres at my local garage, because then I don't have to put them on myself;-)

I have never ordered tyres online. I guess I am a person who wants to see what I am buying on the spot. I rarely order things online. I do order travel, of course. It's the little things that do it. Now I'm thinking about the placement of outdoor furniture :))

Great idea to move the table! Sometimes you don't realise the possibilities until after a while.
As for car tyres, we would not buy them online. We have a great little garage with good prices, and if we want to change a tyre, it's included in the price. And the old tyres have been taken care of.
But certainly ok to try and good that they deliver home.

BP, not having to put the tyres on yourself can of course be convenient 😉.
Biggeros, we do order things online sometimes and have often been satisfied. But sometimes you have to spend a little time surfing around and reading and so on. In any case, we were happy with the tyres 🙂
Ditte, a small and simple change that we were very happy with. Nice to have a workshop that you are happy with!
