Bargain mode for pre-Christmas travel

The Christmas and New Year holidays are a popular travel period, as many people have to deal with school holidays. If you're not locked into this period, it's a good idea to travel in December - but get home before Christmas for extra cheap tickets. The best prices can be found in destinations with a lot of choice, such as the winter favourite Canary Islands. You can find trips to Gran Canaria and Tenerife for less than SEK 3000 per person including flights and accommodation if you travel before Christmas. This writes Ticket in a press release.

New Marketplace to open at Arlanda this summer

New Arlanda is taking shape. Several stores are ready to open this summer when the first part of the new Marketplace will be completed along with a large modern security checkpoint. There will also be shops for outdoor activities, electronics and much more, while the duty-free shop will have a completely new, larger area.

Saga Christmas at Kolmården has opened

On 26 November, Sagojul opened at Kolmården - a sparkling magical winter world filled with Christmas spirit and adventure for the whole family. Here children can meet Santa Claus, visit the trolls in Trollskogen and visit Bamse in his Christmas-decorated Småköping, where this year there is a brand new skating rink. This year there are several new features such as a new ice rink for ice skating and a new specially written Bamse theatre. Blackberry herring and wild goose pâté - new additions to the Tyrol Christmas table

Recently, the Tyrolean Christmas table was premiered for the 39th year in a row, serving up delicious delicacies from the Norrland expanses. According to tradition, there are classic dishes such as bear meatballs, souvasbaked salmon and gooseberry ice cream, but every year the chefs also develop new exciting dishes. This year's new dishes include blackberry herring, elk salami, wild goose pâté and cardamom ice cream. But if you want to grab a seat at this year's Christmas table, you must take advantage of the fact that over 15,000 tickets have already been booked.

Reflection of the week

Having just been to Cyprus, we can attest to the fact that travelling to the sun at this time of year is wonderful! If you're at home, it's not a bad idea to cheer yourself up with a fairytale Christmas or Christmas dinner. Tyrol's Christmas table seems exciting, but after a short week in Cyprus we need to keep a little diet ... haha.
