With summer and holiday time just around the corner, what could be better than booking a romantic holiday with your love? Going away and just taking care of each other in the name of love can make you feel so wonderfully in love again.

But how do you actually go about getting that romantic feeling? Well, we answer that in this short guide by providing some handy tips that are guaranteed to get the romance and passion flowing!

Be romantic and passionate

What makes for a romantic trip is a good and loving atmosphere. The most important thing to achieve this is to let go of arguments and everyday life at home, so as soon as you are on your way to your holiday, you should have the attitude that you are going to enjoy yourself and have a cosy time together.

Here are some tips that will hopefully spark romance, closeness and passion between you:

  • Invite your partner to a surprise. It could be finding a cosy restaurant and booking a table without your loved one knowing, or finding a viewpoint and taking your loved one there. Our best tip is to buy two concert tickets, because live music in a foreign city really does something to you! Afterwards, you can talk about the concert over a drink in a pub.
  • Have lots of holiday sex! Go wild in your hotel room or other exciting places you find during your trip. Be passionate and try that thing you've wanted to do for a long time. If you need a little help to get a new lease of life, you can use a personal counsellor. lovely sex toy that enhances pleasure or why not a sex game played in the hotel room? Adding a few new elements to sex will certainly make it more exciting and luxurious, and that's worth it on holiday, isn't it?
  • Watch sunsets together every evening! It may sound cliché, but sunsets with your loved one never really go out of style and it's one of those things you rarely have time for in everyday life. Find a beautiful viewpoint, a beach or a cosy terrace with evening sunshine and get there just before the sun goes down.
  • Take a lot from each other! Hold hands when you walk, sit close to each other on outdoor terraces and take showers together.

Unwind

During a holiday with your partner, you have all the time in the world to do those things that you might not have time for in everyday life. Instead of booking as many experiences as possible, you should instead focus on unwinding and really taking time for each other and the place you are in.

When you have time to relax and just be, you also have time for conversation, eye contact and intimacy. Romance usually comes naturally in the context of calmness ...

Of course, anything that you find cosy, nice, exciting, fun and/or relaxing are good things to fill your days with. Below are some suggestions that allow time for dialogue, just being in the moment and taking care of each other:

  • Treat yourself to a long lunch in the sun with a glass of champagne. Take in the atmosphere as you sit there, talk to each other or just enjoy being quiet together.
  • Take a walk and wander aimlessly without having any time to spare. Stop at a café for a coffee or have a beer on a cosy outdoor terrace. If you pass something that interests you, try it! Maybe it's a museum, a botanical garden or a nice viewpoint?
  • Lie on a blanket in a park or on a beach and rest, read a book and have a picnic.

Choose your destination carefully

The destination you choose to go to is important to ensure you have the most romantic trip possible.

It's not so much the city or place you choose as the feeling you carry with you, but choosing a place that offers many of the things that make you feel relaxed and at ease is sure to make the trip as loving as possible.

What that location is, in turn, can be anything from a charter trip or a visit to a big city to a hiking holiday in the Alps or a weekend in a spa hotel in Sweden.

In conclusion

There are many tricks and tips to follow to achieve that love journey every couple dreams of, but the most important thing is that you are in the right mood. The above points can help you get into that frame of mind, but if you don't have the right attitude from the start, it doesn't matter how much wine you drink at sunset. That said, go on a love trip because you want to and because you crave romance!
