Easter is here, and we wish all our readers a great Easter holiday! As for us, we're at home trying to recover from all the travelling and adventures we've had recently. It's amazing how much you can appreciate an evening on the TV sofa!

We wish you a Happy Easter!

First of all, we wish you a Happy Easter! We will not be celebrating this weekend so much this year. We're tired from all the travelling and are celebrating by staying at home and taking it easy. If you are looking for Easter reading, we have picked some articles from previous years:

Houseboat life - with work and rest

We are living the houseboat life right now, or 'home life' if you will, and we are enjoy of not having so many activities on the schedule. Of course we work, and we have some meetings as well, but we are at home a lot, and that is very nice.

The luxury of being able to lie down on the sofa for a while during the day, or watching an episode of a TV series in the evening. Wow, how we appreciate this! I don't know when we watched TV before this week... two months ago maybe?

Walks and meetings in the city

We've had a few different meetings this week, including with various tourist offices. Good meetings and fun collaborations! On the way to and from the meetings, we couldn't help but pull out the camera from time to time ...

New dishes inspired by the "Camping Kitchen".

When we were at the fair Stockholm Caravan Motorhome we were given a booklet to take home, with recipes from "Camping kitchen". We were really inspired and have already made two of them, both of which were very tasty!

Some updates on freedomtravel.com

Now that we have been home, we have finally had time to take care of some "forgotten" pages here at freedomtravel.se. These are mainly pages in the menu, such as Planning and packing, Driving in Europe, Fix your motorhome and Contact and co-operation which has been overhauled. Great!

New film from South Africa

Peter has also had time to edit some films. Below you can see his film from the "Garden Route", i.e. the beautiful and popular route between Storms River and Mossel Bay in South Africa.

Don't forget that you can also follow us directly on Youtube at youtube.com/freedomtravelnews!

Best this week

Best this week? For our part, it's definitely that we are home and have time to rest and catch up. Oh, how we need this! No adventures right now please, just sleep, work, walks and TV, if we may ask. Then we will surely be ready for new adventures again!

Your turn, what can you highlight as positive from your week?

The week ahead

What about the week ahead? We hope that we can continue to hang out in the houseboat, rest, work, walk and watch TV! Maybe there will be some socialising with family and friends too.

Here at freedomtravel.se you can expect even more reports from South Africa (yes, we still have experiences to tell you about!) mixed with guest reports, Wednesday musings and more. Now we take the opportunity to wish you a great Easter weekend!
