Today we are travelling to Split in Croatia. We will spend Christmas in this Croatian gem, focusing on spa, shopping and good food. At the same time, we want to wish you a great Friday, the day before Christmas Eve!

Tips and tricks for upcoming trips
During the last week we have tried to organise some practical things for upcoming trips. Among other things, we have checked our insurance and started thinking about packing for the trip to the Philippines, later this winter.
We wrote a packing list for the trip a while ago, and it was a good way to think things through. Then we realised that we needed better powerbanks and new backpacks, so that's what we've been looking at.
One day it was a walk to the giant shopping centre. Mall of Scandinavia, which is located in our municipality, but still requires a 50-minute walk from us. In the mall there was a Christmas atmosphere to say the least!

Today we are travelling to Split in Croatia
But, it's not yet time for the Philippines. Today we are travelling to Split in Croatia, where we will spend Christmas. We love Split - a reasonably sized and historically interesting city, nicely located on the Croatian coast. However, travelling here in winter will be a new experience.
The trip is a collaboration with the Radisson Blu hotel and the Croatian Tourist Board, and we are planning a few days of spa, shopping and good food. Hopefully we can show some photos already tomorrow, on Christmas Eve.
Best this week
This has been a pretty quiet week for us, and maybe that's for the best? We are pleased to have had time to work on some ongoing projects and prepare for upcoming trips. We've also had time to watch a TV series, which we think is a luxury!

I have only been to Croatia once, I would like to return and see other places than the hotel area I stayed in then (training trip). The best thing this week is that the rain has stopped and we can finally enjoy the sun's rays again!

Oh so cosy with Christmas in Split, it will be fun to följa👏🏻🌲🌟. Best in the week that has passed, has probably been when we in the family were away on an overnight stay (about 25 min from where we live) and where all the children were with us (even the young people) and we sauna, bathed jacuzzi and played games in the cottage🥰./ P

So nice to leave cold and grey skies, for hopefully blue skies and slightly higher temperatures. The best part of our last week was that last weekend, for the first time in ages, we got to see all my children and grandchildren at once for Christmas. Last year half the team was sick.
The worst thing this week is that Lars has tested positive for covid and is coughing in the corner of the sofa. I myself hope to avoid it but how it goes with it remains to be seen.

We are in Tenerife and have enjoyed everything here this week. Not least the bright sun, + 25 in the shade, cloudless and a great hotel.

What perfect timing with the Christmas trip to Split, because there it will not be 5.6 degrees below zero like here. So smart! You were foresighted there;-)
MoS and Täby Centrum have the same owner. However, I can safely say that they have invested significantly more in MoS than in Täby. Incredibly beautiful if somewhat opulent.
