Intermediate days! We've made a stopover in Munich, we're at home between journeys, and according to the almanac, time moves between Christmas and New Year. In this in-between time, we look both backwards and forwards!

Lovely days in Croatia

It was really great to get away to Croatia. Fifteen plus degrees isn't super warm, but what a difference from the Swedish winter! It's brighter, people are sitting outside ... It was a real energy boost! We've written a bit about the trip already:

Flight home - with a stopover in Munich

After a few days it was time to leave Split again, and we took a photo from the aircraft window. It was a bit hazy in the morning, but still nice.

During the summer months, it's easy to fly directly to Split, but in winter you may have to switch. The photo below was taken as we were landing in Munich, Germany. The landscape here looked almost unreal with green fields, which looked like soft pillows.

Intermediate days in Stockholm

Now we are home in the houseboat, and it really is the middle days. The time is between Christmas and New Year, and we are home between different trips. We have lots of errands to run, but the days go by so fast and we don't really have time for everything we want to do. It barely has time to get light before it gets dark again ...

We have met my (Helena's) family and we have been hanging out on the sofa watching TV series (Californication!). Maybe we can use this time to look back and forward a bit. We have already summarised travel year 2022. Now we have also checked out which of our pictures were the most popular on Instagram during the year (see below). The week ahead

Our immediate plans are to meet Peter's sons and then to celebrate the new year, which we intend to do with our friends Lennart and Beata.
