Here we go and it's Peter at the helm! Autumn brings less light and rain in the cottages. It also brings wonderful colours in nature, mushrooms, the best fish and shellfish. I love the sun and you know that, but I choose to see the most positive side of life as well.

Many of our campervan friends are heading south this autumn and we have to admit that we are liiite jealousy. Here we are in the dark. A lot happened on the trip to Greece. On the nerve, we had a stopover in Istanbul and we didn't want to sit in an airport for three hours. Me (Peter) and my two blogger friends checked that there was a five-star hotel 12 minutes from the airport. Done and done, here we go! I will also tell you how I forgot my iPhone in the aircraft.

If you've been following our blog for the last week, you'll know that last weekend was dramatic to say the least here in the marina. Peter was in Greece and I (Helena) was alone in the houseboat when a section of our jetty simply sank, taking with it an office and several leisure boats. It was a bit sad to leave the heat of Rome and come back to the cold, but still cosy to come home to the houseboat. We've been living the life this week with work and training, and we've also managed to get new dressers and a new espresso machine for the houseboat. Today it's time for a trip abroad again ... but now only Peter is going.

On Sunday we came home late in the evening (read: night). On Monday morning it was time for me to go to work and for Peter to start with blog work, invoices, meetings and fixing the houseboat. This week has really gone sooo fast. We still have a lot to be happy about! Today there will be another film from Wismar and a report both from our houseboat and from the new commuter train station in Stockholm.

This week has been tough! Peter has been working on building a log house on Ringsö and I have been "holding the fort" at the county council and at home in the houseboat. But the hardest part has been not seeing each other. It may sound a little silly, but we are not used to being apart ... Now Peter is home again, and that means it is definitely Happy Friday for us! Among other things, there was a seafood party yesterday in the houseboat...!
