We're back in Sweden, but now we have to tell you about the cheese and dish raclette in Switzerland! Before we travelled to Switzerland, I had a rather vague idea of raclette. I knew it involved melted cheese and some kind of side dish, but you can't just eat cheese for dinner, can you? Or can you ... ? We have now had raclette twice - once in the traditional way and once with a raclette iron on the table. Now we know a bit more what it's all about.

There are many fine castles and vineyards in the Czech Republic, especially south of Brno. We were here in July 2016, but decided to make a short visit again. Firstly, we wanted to check out some practical details for upcoming guided motorhome trips and secondly, we wanted to buy wine, of course.

Ok, here we go and new events on G! It's Friday and the weather is nice! This is great! We will today when Helena has finished working to sign on the sailing ship Gratia in Nynäshamn, and follow around the archipelago and we dock in Djurgården in Stockholm on Sunday. On our last day in Hungary, we travelled from Pécs to the wine region of Villány in southern Hungary. And in between, we also made it to Harkány, for a visit to a hotel with a thermal bath.

Now it's time to tell you more about what we did in Pécs in southern Hungary. This included a visit to a champagne cellar where we tried pezsgö, beer from microbreweries and really good food at the Zsolnay cultural centre.

When we were in Turku we visited Koulu, or "Skolan" as it is called in Swedish. It doesn't sound like much fun, but the old girls' school now houses a brewery and a restaurant, and here we got to take part in a beer tasting!
