Midsummer in a motorhome

Where can you celebrate Midsummer in a motorhome? Sometimes we've travelled to friends who live in the countryside and celebrated with them, so it's perfect to have the motorhome with us. Other times we have taken the motorhome and driven to a campsite. Many campsites organise Midsummer celebrations, and what could be better than celebrating Midsummer in a motorhome in a beautiful natural area. Here are some of our favourite places to celebrate Midsummer. What are your top tips?

1: Rullsands camping

Rullsands camping outside Gävle is beautifully situated by the water and here you will find both tranquillity and a more festive atmosphere if you wish.

2. Ekön Camping

Eköns camping outside Valdemarsvik is beautifully situated on the coast, and here you can take part in traditional midsummer celebrations if you wish.

3. Midsummer's Eve in the Archipelago

Last but not least, it is nice to celebrate Midsummer with family or friends in the archipelago, or elsewhere in the country. We have celebrated Midsummer with Peter's brother, who has a summer cottage on Blidö.
