We can hardly believe it's true, but it is! As you know, we have sold our apartment and the new owners are moving in on 15 August. So we have been looking for an apartment for a while now. A small apartment in Solna or Sundbyberg we thought... but then it became a houseboat! It appeared on Hemnet, we went to look at it... and fell in love.

ShareThe deal has taken quite some time, and we didn't dare reveal anything in the meantime. But today we have signed the papers, and on 1 August we get access. A very own houseboat, with a wonderful location in Pampas Marina in Solna. We have to do some work on the boat, but as you know, Peter is very handy. Oh yes, we will tell you more later. Right now we are completely staring...

Big, big congratulations !!!! Simply superb. Have always wanted to live on a houseboat (during the summer). It has become really popular with accommodation on a houseboat, it's cheap too! Wonderful:-)

Sounds like an exciting choice, but up here in the north it would probably be cold on your feet in winter.

We ourselves are on holiday and have so far covered 330 miles down through Germany, France and from the Costa Brava via Zaragosa, Pamplona to now enjoy San Sebastian. Lovely trip that started with a crossing from Trelleborg-Sassniz where we have not travelled before but as Stena had good prices on some crossings we chose that side of Germany down through. Clearly good choice and everything *pepper pepper* has gone well so far during the 13 days we have been away. From here we are heading north again so in a few weeks we will probably be back in Sweden / reality again 😉 We have taken a blog break in the meantime but then there will be reports on the trip.

Henny, yes haha, there is probably "risk" for new design on the boat!
Annika, Hornsberg beach is a place we just discovered. So nice! Yes, she can certainly see our boat. It is located at the far end and is yellow. If you have the roads past some day, look past! (Yes, when we have moved then of course... 😉 ).
Allis & Stellan, sounds like a great trip! Looking forward to a report when you get home! In the meantime, we wish you a pleasant journey!
