Houseboat life
Right now we're living the houseboat life, which largely involves sitting indoors and working at our computers ... but often with the windows and doors open!
On our Instagram account @freedomtravelnews we received a request to show photos of the interior of our houseboat. It was said and done! I took a bunch of photos and posted a so-called "carousel" (ie several photos in the same post). Now I realised that I can show those photos here as well. So, here is a photo bomb from our houseboat!
The kitchen in the houseboat
From the entrance you come almost directly into the kitchen, after passing through a tiny Hallway. The kitchen of course serves as a kitchen but also as my (Helena's) study.
The living room and patio
If you go up a few steps from the kitchen, you will find our living room, where we have a TV couch, a fireplace and Peter's study area. From here you can also walk straight out onto the deck, where we have our patio.

Instead, if you go down from the kitchen, you get to the lower deck, where we have a bedroom, exercise room (the TV is for showing exercise videos) and a walk-in closet all in one big room.
In fact, we at last (for the first time in a long time) followed our own tips for a brighter autumn and ran two training sessions. On the lower deck there is also the former engine room, which now serves as a laundry and storage room (without headroom).
Preparing for motorhome life
We are also preparing for autumn motorhome trips. We wash the sheets and repack. We also decided to blow out the refrigerator's burner again, as the fridge has again started to work a little less well on LPG.
While we were at it with compressed air, the tyres also got some extra air.

Best this week? That we got a lot of work done maybe? And that we still had nice days in the houseboat!

The week ahead
The Elmia fair is fast approaching. We will work on preparations (preparing lectures, packing products, preparing signs etc.) and then it's time to go. Of course, we will report from the fair here at FREEDOMtravel!

Nice to go "boat view". I think you really managed to get smart solutions in a small area.
Fun with a lot of things going on.
Best here? A great trip to Åland with Viking's ship Grace. We missed a special tour that we were invited to but this was a good taste. We still have the second tour and it will go to Turku.
Otherwise, some fun jobs that come in different ways.

Compact living at its smartest! Love all your baskets and more. You must have a really good memory to remember what the different baskets contain. Also see that your shoe storage Helena has not decreased since you last showed the shelves;-)
It's also fun that you don't work in the same room but have different workstations. Then you bump into each other less;-)

we live on öxnehaga in huskvarna used to be on österängen then we saw the whole elmia full of motorhomes on all the fields that memory we miss now.
