We survived the fair
On Sunday afternoon, the fair was Motorhome Sthlm 2022 finished, and it was time to pack up and go home. We packed, loaded into the trailer, carried down to the storage room, returned the trailer ... and went for pizza. Phew!
The fair was a lot of fun, but it was also exhausting, of course. The rest of the week has been "after work" and an opportunity to breathe...
Two events in Stockholm
But if we are to be honest, we had to wait a bit to exhale. Monday offered namely two event: the Cyprus Tourism Organisation hosted lunch and Egypt hosted dinner, along with information on the destinations.
Both events were enjoyable and gave us good contacts. We are carefully planning a private trip to Egypt with friends and family, so we were keen to have contacts there. As for the Cyprus we were really inspired. Tomorrow we will publish a full article about the food served at Restaurant Cyprus and what we heard - which makes us curious about Cyprus as a travel destination.
Sun and spring feelings
The rest of the week we worked, had meetings and walked in the lovely spring sunshine. During one of the walks we even had an ice cream at Gräddnos Gelateria on Rörstrandsgatan. Amazingly good ice cream there!
During another walk we went to Solna centre, and then we pass the sign for "Ingenting". For those who don't know, Ingenting is an office and residential area at Tomteboda, in the Huvudsta neighbourhood of Solna. The area, like Ingentingskogen, is named after the "Ingenting" manor house that once belonged to Karlberg Castle.

Best this week
Best thing this week? That we survived the fair perhaps, haha. It is also really nice that it is spring and the sun is shining. We appreciate that a lot! What has been the best part of your week?
The week ahead
We'll be home for a few more weeks, before we head off on a long motorhome trip. During the coming week we will be at home in the houseboat. Among other things, we work with the summer magazine and will do an interview, a lecture and a lot of travel planning. What will you be able to read about here on freedomtravel.se? It will be a surprise!

I understand you as few, what an effort to participate or as we did, to organise a fair. (Read more in my book) The only time in my life that I had hallucinatory dreams was when we organised our own Christmas fair at the company. At most 1500 visitors, about 50 exhibitors and everyone was offered food.

Yes, I can imagine that you understand! And thanks again for the book, very interesting! I read a good bit on the flight to and from Denmark and also discussed it with Peter 🙂 Interesting about growing up, but also about sales!!!! Then I sometimes have difficulty finding reading peace at home, especially now around the fair 😉 But I will return!

Lovely with Cyprus! It is so frustrating when you get those nice invitations and so rarely can come. Glad you were inspired.

I understand that! It's an advantage when you live in Stockholm. We recently turned down an event in Malmö, but it's not so often that it happens for us. Lovely with London! Have a nice trip!

I understand that you were inspired by beautiful Cyprus. My first charter trip with three girls (3-9 years) went there. 40 degrees hot almost all week so we unfortunately did not see more than sea and pool....
The best thing this week must be that the motorhome has found its way out of winter and the first overnight stay is done.

Standing on a stand at a trade fair is hard enough, as your legs tend to grow through your head already after the first day. On top of that, giving 6 lectures - well, I guess you were pretty much drained of all energy after the fair.
The two events should have helped there;-)
Cyprus is a fantastic island that has so much to offer. Can be deeply recommended. Cyprus is best outside the tourist resorts like Ayia Napa for example.

Nice to meet you at the fair! I can imagine that you have finally exhaled a little this week. The best thing this week (and every week nowadays) is all the trips to the dump, everything we have fixed with the motorhome before the move everything that is done with the move and on top of that we have had wonderful weather!
