Many motorhomers are now fleeing the autumn and the cold here in the north, and rolling south to spend the winter somewhere around the Mediterranean. Some are already in place at more southern latitudes, and we have to admit that it doesn't sound too bad. If you want to get a taste of the feeling, you can follow some of the motorhome drivers who are blogging during the winter.

Motorhome bloggers heading southwards
At this time of year, many motorhome drivers head south to escape the cold here in the north and enjoy a more pleasant climate. Many of them have blogs and if you want to read about wintering, you can follow one of them!
Pensioners' will(l)an, Motorhome Ellen and Lennart's thoughts have just left Sweden and are heading south via Germany. Presumably they will soon continue onwards and we will see where!
Portugal and Spain
Portugal and Spain are countries that attract many motorhome owners, due to the relatively pleasant climate in winter. hagfish is already in place in glorious Portugal. Bosse and Gerd are located in Spain, as well as Yvonne and Lorentz.
Update: Our campervan trip around Europe
Two years after writing this post, we travelled around Europe by motorhome for a whole year. We started in Normandy in western France and followed the coast southwards through northern Spain and Portugal.
We then continued along the Mediterranean coast of Spain and France, travelling around Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily. Then we continued to southern Italy and took a ferry across to Albania. During the last part of the trip we experienced Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Northern Italy and Germany.

We know a couple from Söderhamn who went down for the third time.
time now and it's the best thing they've done they said!!!
They have no blog pity enough to follow more than FB .....
Otherwise we have the real couple who live in the campervan all year round.
They come from the Borå area and have Husbilsliv.se.
It is interesting to follow, they usually update every day.
