What weather! One minute the sun is shining and we are enjoying ourselves with the patio door open. The next second it starts to pour. And then, all of a sudden, there are gusts of wind that cause the whole boat to tilt sharply to one side. It's still cold, but there are some sure signs that spring is here ...

Spring is here, even if it doesn't quite feel like it in the icy winds. One sure sign of spring is that boat traffic is becoming more and more intense. The evenings are also getting lighter and when the sun does set, it often colours the sky a beautiful red or yellow.
Another sure sign of spring is that we're getting the motorhome out of winter storage this weekend! What does spring look like for you? If you have a motorhome, caravan or boat, have you gone on any trips yet?

Here in south-west Norway it is also cold, with cold north-west winds and rain showers.

The signs of spring are among the best there are, fantastically beautiful around you in the marina! In our garden it seems to have been green all winter in some places and never before after our wintering in Spain has the lawn been so green as now, it has mostly been moss other springs ☺️?

Sure, the weather changes during the day, and you don't know what to wear, a thick winter jacket or something thinner so you get cold when work is over for the evening.
The tulips have large green buds that will soon open.

Yes Helena, it's now only 10 days until we leave on our long journey 🙂.
(Almost) everything is ready, we have taken everything out of the car and have packed what we need to take with us in a bedroom in the house. Just to carry everything in on Saturday 30 April.
Visa to Russia is ready, insurance and green card are in order, 2 camping cards have been purchased, we have taken out membership in NAF.
So I think and hope we are in control 🙂

The number of leisure boats entering the Saltsjön has increased considerably in recent days, which is a sure sign of spring, as are all those who are sanding, painting and polishing the boats in order to launch them soon.
The boat tours, sighetseeing, have also been running for a week in Stockholm, another sign of spring.
We have practised taking the boat to Nybrokajen (if we do not walk) or the SL boat, but the boats run all year round, but now it is more enjoyable. Even the Vaxholm boats got their spring traffic list on 15/4 so now you can choose a little more tours. Spring feeling there too.

You always have such nice pictures! We have to hold on, soon spring will come in earnest. I myself was almost in shock when I came home on Tuesday: from 26 degrees and sun in Rome to 6 degrees, high winds and rain here. 🙂 But today it was better, except this evening when the rain poured down.

Well, it was a bit windy yesterday, which we asphalt farmers felt, of course, but that's nothing compared to the rocking of a boat....

Nice pictures from your surroundings! Now it has been cold for so long so spring must come. We still have frost almost every night and then there is no speed on the vegetation so it is slow. The days contain all kinds of weather; sunshine, wind, calm, rain, hail, snow. And it changes quickly. Have a good day!

Here it is hardly possible to even talk about spring some days... This morning I had to scrape ice from the car window and the other week and a few days ago it snowed. It is said that there will be snow tonight/tomorrow again as well. However, it will not be long-lasting because it will be over +10 degrees again towards the weekend 🙂 It's just a bit problematic when you do not know when you really dare to change to summer tyres on the car... But it hailed yesterday, it feels much more spring-like than snow, because hail can even do sometime in the summer without it being super strange, at least at my latitude 🙂 Snow in the summer, on the other hand, would be much more rare.
