Today is Good Friday, so it's not really "Happy" Friday. But if you're not religious, maybe you can be a little happy anyway? This week we have ended up in a report in a Värmland newspaper, and it has been decided that we will travel to Morocco!

A few weeks ago we had a journalist and a photographer here in our houseboat. They were doing a report for TT, but did not know in which newspaper or newspapers the report would end up. Fortunately, we have readers and blog friends here and there in Sweden who can let us know when the story is suddenly in a local paper somewhere!
So where did the report appear? Well, in the Värmland newspaper NWT! Unfortunately, the story doesn't seem to be online, but here is a screenshot we borrowed from our Värmland-based blog friend. Inga Magnusson. Great to be featured in this magazine!
Update on Friday morning: Now we have seen that the report can also be read in its entirety in the Västmanland County newspaper. housing annex.
Morocco trip in April
Another fun thing that happened this week is that it has been finalised that we are going on a press trip to Morocco in the middle of April, just before we go to Ireland. We have previously been to Marrakech and in Saharawhich has been exciting and interesting. This trip will go to Agadir, and we look forward to seeing a new part of Morocco!

The best thing this week (Wednesday) was to get into the campervan and make the first trip of the year to Öland.
Nice weather during the trip but now the wind is strong and last night there was snow too.

Happy Easter to you too!!! We do not "celebrate" Easter more than that we will have the family home for dinner tomorrow, but I think that is the most important thing about the holidays, to be with those you love ...

How nice for you to have a trip to Morocco.
Agadir was the destination of my first charter trip in the mid-70s. The most lasting memory was that my then partner contracted some nasty stomach bacillus so he had to spend a week with a nutrient drop at the Infection Clinic in Västerås when we came home.
The best thing about this week is the sun shining from a clear blue sky. You almost start to believe in spring even though it's -10 in the morning.

Morocco sounds exciting. I have visited Agadir a couple of times but liked Casablanca better so we spent time there and in Marrakesh. Exciting to now follow your journey and Agadir has certainly "moved on". Was there as a single woman and it was not so carefree travelling around on your own. Not 15 years ago.
The best things that have happened this week are new job offers and the improvement of my cold shoulder.

Read the report and liked it very much. actually the best that has been done about you and motorhome life with absolutely superb pictures as well. Very interesting info on purchase and insurance too. It would be interesting to know if "aquavillas" are also treated as "smaller" boats by banks and insurance companies.
Lovely with Agadir, where we have been twice. Love the city with a wonderful promenade, a giant souk and not least the fish market. We ate at restaurant no. 26 straight ahead.

Beware of "salesmen who take you to the cousin who offers tea and then wants to sell all sorts of spices and natural remedies for various ailments.". Unfortunately we went there;-)
